With most decorating jobs, you'll be using substances containing chemicals. It's good to use them responsibly and minimise any environmental damage.
How to store and dispose surplus paints?
- Only buy as many paints as you need for the job in hand. If you do need to store them, use a secure cupboard well out of the reach of children and animal
- Take extra care when transporting paints, always keep the cans in up-right position
- Cover the spilt with sand. Don't pour paints or thinners down the drain as this may silt up the drain and violate the environment protection policy
